UPDATE  PROBABLY GOING END JUNE.  WE HAVE 3 INTERESTED NEED A 4TH.  ANYONE INTERESTED WE ARE HAVING A COUPLE OF DAYS AWAY IN JAN TO SEE HOW WE ALL GET ON.         ANYONE INTERESTED LET ME KNOW AND LEAVE UR CONTACT DETAILS

 

 

Anyone interested in a USA road trip for 2012. Start in San Francisco then take the Nappa Valley, Yosemite, Carmel Monterey. Flexible as to where. Any age, a sense of humour and flexible fun approach is more important than age.

UPDATE    Travel Bag and Trailfinders do good travel and car hire in USA. Alternatively there are some good tour where it is possible to add a few days on at the begiing or end

Hello, great to read your plans. I'm looking to do a Coast to Coast road trip San Fran to NY taking in New Orleans and Washington amongst lots of other en route places. Have been looking for a small group trip but so far the only onesd I have found involve camping which I can do but would prefer motels etc. Would have to be in August? Any ideas?

I was at the original meeting

I was at the original meeting in Covent Garden and, as I hadn't heard any more, I looked on T&L to see whether there were any updates and found that, out of the eight people who had said they wanted to go, it seemed to have got whittled down to four who all met this month and fixed it. So what happened to the other four? I expected to get an email or something as a follow-up after the first meeting. If there are still four more people who want to go on a trip like this, maybe we could get together and plan it for the Autumn or some other time? Let me know if you're interested.

only info at present is we have 3 people need a fourth we are thinking of a get together in early Jan maybe in London if your interested. havent sorted deffinate costs yet but thinking of booking with Travel Bag or Trailfinders as these can tweek and/or tailor make the raod trips and prices appear favourable.
