Hiya,

I'm looking for a travel buddy (or 2 or 3!) to come travelling around Southern Africa for around a month-5 weeks (start of March till Early April).

I have saved up all my holiday allowance at work from 2012 so I can get a decent holiday this year. The plan so far is to fly from Manchester>Cape Town, spend around 3-4 days there (3* hotel/basic), then do the STA Travel Deltas, Dunes & Falls (21 days) tour ending in Livingstone.

This trip is very basic and would mean camping throughout however it should be worth it as the trip sounds amazing and covers all the highlights from South Africa, Botswana, Namibia and Zambia. I don't know what state my hair will be in after nearly a month's camping but hey, as I said it's so worth it :)

Then planning to fly from Livingstone to either Zanzibar or Madagascar for 5-7 days holiday (4* holiday say £40-£50 per night) i.e. relax, sunbathe, spa, a few cocktails etc before flying home.

The flights will cost around £650 + £200 for internal flight to Dar (or we could take the cheap option and take the train/bus).

For the 1st few days in Cape Town, hoping to be around £150-£200 + £100 for excursions?

The STA travel tour is approx £1300 which includes all meals and accomodation (basic hostels/camping/guesthouses) for the 21 days.

Then for the week in Zanzibar not looking to spend much more than £450-£500 if that.

So a rough total of: £3000 - hoping to get this down a bit though.

I have already saved £2500 and hope to have an extra £500-£700 as spending money - Souvenirs, extra excursions etc.want to go too much higher than this.
