How about a week in Sandbanks,Poole, Dorset next May?
I am re-opening this trip idea briefly as there are just a few spaces left. If anyone is interested in joining us, there is one full week available plus 3 part weeks, one of Monday to Friday & 2 of Tuesday to Friday. Cost of full week is approx. £184, 4 nights approx. £105 & 3 nights £79.

Following the success of the Liverpool w/e & the Lake District afterwards for a few, I would like to invite you to the lovely (I'm biased!) county of Dorset next year.
Getting there: Trains run regularly to Bournemouth (London Waterloo line). We could pick people up from the station & ferry them to the accommodation.
Motorway: M3,M27, A31 etc
Airport: Bournemouth International, Hurn
There is soooo much to see & do in this area. E.G.
Poole Old Town & Harbour
Boat trips to Brownsea Island (Peacocks & Red Squirrels)
Evening Wareham River Trip with Fish & Chips on the Quay
Swanage, Steam Railway trip
Walking in the Purbecks
Corfe Castle
The beautiful Jurassic Coast
Abbotsbury Swanery
Bournemouth Shopping
Lovely beaches at Studland/Shell bay
Water sports
Theatres
Further afield: Dorchester,Bridport, Lyme Regis etc.
So - is anyone out there interested?! Do hope so. I know it’s a long way off, & I cannot guarantee the wonderful weather the Lakeland ladies managed but …………………….

Is anyone from the U.S. coming? Would love to meet people from all over the world but might feel funny since I'm sure I talk very different than everyone there. Would it be difficult for me to figure out how to get there? I have not traveled out of this country by myself yet, but would like to give it a try. I hope you respond. Tammy

A lady (Kemcleary) from the U.S. came to the Bath week-end in 2010. She had a ball, and we loved meeting her. She flew to London and then got on a train. I believe someone met her at the airport.
