Hi!

"Crested_Grebe" and I are planning to spend January 2012 in Cuba and are looking for a couple of other people to make up a small group. We are flying to Havana with Virgin Atlantic on the 4th January and returning on the 1st February, but if you cannot spare all that time, you could possibly join us for part of it. We plan to stay in Casas and travel around by bus (please see my Travel Guide "Taking the Casa Route through Cuba" for a flavour of the trip).  I would hope this time to visit the Santiago de Cuba end of the island, as well as a few of the places (and people) I enjoyed last year.

We want to keep it to a small, even numbered group, 4 would be ideal, and our interests are in the culture and history of Cuba, walking, maybe some horse-riding, nature, music, and the occasional day on the beach (but no beach resorts). It would be good to have another Spanish speaker, but not essential.  As we will be travelling together for some time, we'd like to arrange a meeting to make sure we are all compatible, before the trip, and as we live London and Dover respectively, that would probably have to be in London or environs -although we are both going on the Bath week-end, so you could also meet us there, if you are going. The sooner we meet, however, the sooner you can get your flights booked, and I can book the first few nights accomodation in Havana.  Budget around £2000 for the 4 weeks, including flights, but have a back-up for emergencies.
