looking to have a holiday in japan for two weeks in the summer sometime. traveling around visiting a few places, seeing the sights but also having time to relax, have nice meals and just enjoy a different culture. let me know if you're interested.

Summer? You mean in Japan. Also wanting to go in June or July 2013. But not sure for now due to work schedule. I'll let you know if I will.. =)

Japan is really hot in the summer and very humid. The best time to visit is Spring or Autumn.

Kyoto is a must, Kamakura and Nikko are also worth a visit. One of my favourite trips is to see the snow monkeys at Jigokudani:

Try to stay in a ryokan with onsen - quintessentially Japanese.
