Have just got back very exhausted from the Leonardo exhibition in London. It was a last minute trip for me as I took the place of an unknown lady who broke her arm. I was with 3 others and had good priced train tickets to St Pancras, walked to the Premier Inn on Euston Rd, where we had a meal deal that included 3 course evening meal with wine and all you can eat breakfast. £75 each. Great for London and so near the station. Exhibition was fantastic, but very crowded and hot and minus the Mona Lisa, so glad that I had seen it previously in Paris.
I have my own trick of going round museums and art galleries so did it easier than the others and even saw the film and spent time in the shop while they were still snailing round! Sorry I didn't get to meet the rest of you but I was there the day before.

Hi J we were in London on a T and L get together yesterday but looked at the queue and decided not to bother apparently they release 500 tickets in the morning we were there at 12 mid-day and ended up seeing the photographic exhibition at the Nat Port Gallery which was great hope to meet you sometime this year to discuss your travels Michelle

Glad you enjoyed the exhibition Jaqueline. My dad and uncle went two weeks ago and said it was phenomonal! :-)
And a couple of my friends have queued 5 hours to get into the exhibition!

Unfortunately, I couldn't get tickets to suit my time off work otherwise I would have gone with dad...

Hi Jaqueline, glad you enjoyed your trip. I love going to London but was not free to go on the T & L one yesterday. Was your Premier Inn booked on a special early deal? Only I have never managed to find a room in London with Premier that cheap. I stayed in a B&B the last time I went in September as that was the cheapest option i could find.

Hi Jeanesy, Someone else booked everything and I think they booked it all as early as they could.
The Premier Inn was £150 for the double room which included the meal deal. Great value at £75 each.
Hope to meet up with you all sometime.
Sorry you missed out on the exhibition Charlotte.

Hello,
I didn't get the chance to see the Leonardo exhibition in London.
But I have read that a guided tour of the exhibition has been filmed before the opening in London and it will be shown in cinemas/theatres all around the world as per the 16th February. Here is the link

I hope that this helps.
