London - South Bank, Saturday 15 May

This is a follow-on from something I started earlier. It is a meet-up in two parts, join for one part or both as you please.

Part one- For those interested in photography and having a try out and chat with others about photography on holiday, at home etc. Beginner or expert, SLR or compact,it doesn't matter. I'm a beginner myself with a compact and realised, after a recent trip, that I could make better pictures if I experimented with what my camera could do. So, for this part, meet at Southwark Catherdral Refectory ( in the courtyard if sunny) at 11 am. There are lots of iconic views, the bustle of Borough Market and some unusual buildings and quaint corners in this area.

Part two- Lunch at Dim t. They say that they can give us a table with a great view over the Thames- another photo opportunity. Food is oriental mix- noodles, asian curry but I will be trying the Dim Sum probably.

The name of the restaurant is Dim t. The nearest tube/railway station is London Bridge and it is a short walk from there along the Thames river path towards the East.
The fortune cookie that I got when I last ate there said "It is better to be lucky than rich" so i hope we are lucky with the weather.
