Land & sea based in Galapagos + Amazon rainforest

This was originally a 2021 trip postponed due to Covid 

No fixed dates yet, but will be late 2022; probably November

To max out on wildlife I will be splitting the Galapagos to a land based part and a cruise - looking at 7 days of cruise on either Mary Anne or Solaris.  Mary Anne, if she is fully refurbed in time is a sailing cruiser; so another added twist to normal cruising.

Mashpi Lodge in the rainforest is one of the best hotels in the world and I am looking at 2 nights here - just because I am only going there once and they have "Skybikes" which enable you to cycle through the tree canopy in the rainforest.  Super expensive, but once in a lifetime experience.

The trip is very wild/birdlife orientated, as you may expect but will also be having sometime in Quito to explore the city plus Napo Wildlife Centre which includes time with locals  - trying to get some of the cultural elements covered too.

Itinerary in early stages still only had the first cut - but it really will be one to remember!
