It is with great sadness that we must tell you that the Thelma & Louise website and social media platforms will be closing and will cease to operate over the weekend of 17th/18th July 2021.
With everything that happened in the world recently, it seems the right decision to stop here. When Thelma & Louise Club launched way back in 2006, it was innovative, vibrant and the only solution out there to find female travel buddies. The name resonated with so many women, it fitted the cultural climate and felt right. Today there are so many resources for travel buddies, clubs, groups and opportunities for women to meet. It’s such a populated and competitive space.
What we set out to do many years ago, has been a success. We have enriched many women’s lives, we helped thousands to find travel buddies and we are grateful for all the wonderful, adventurous and inspirational women we have met and the stories of friendship and bravery we’ve heard so often.
In accordance with data protection legislation, we will be securely destroying all members’ personal information in our possession. We cannot share personal information between members, so please take the opportunity to make contact (safely of course) with any fellow member with whom you wish to maintain contact after our closure.
Whether you're a new member or you've loved Thelma & Louise Club since day dot, we hope that you'll continue the journey, you’ll be opened to new adventures and make friends wherever you go. We have been incredibly lucky to have such brilliant members.
