Along Antigua’s southwestern coast lie these two wide, golden-sand beaches. Both offer good restaurants and beach bars with lounge chair rentals, and are perfect for those not staying at the beach resorts. The snorkeling off Turner’s Beach is good, but visitors need to bring their own equipment. Cruising yachts often anchor just offshore so passengers can enjoy the beach. Darkwood Beach has a lovely stretch of sand and is a great spot to swim.
